Somewhere between a print and an original
I am experimenting with prints and this one began as a way to make my artwork more accessible, but it quickly evolved into something entirely it’s own.
My studio is filled with beautiful fragments of test prints, wallpaper scraps, painted papers, and cutouts that I couldn't bring myself to discard. Each one represents an idea, a texture, or a moment in the creative process that still feels alive. Rather than allowing these materials to sit unused, I have, and will be, incorporating them back into these prints, giving them a new context and a second life.
Every embellished print is individually altered with hand-painted details, collage elements, and intuitive interventions, making each piece unique. Some editions will exist as 1 of 1, while others may be created in editions of no more than 5, with each work differing from the others through its handmade additions.
