The first piece in a new series - ‘Other People’s Houses’

Years ago, I created a series called ‘The Significance of Home’. This series examined the relationship we all have with the places we live. Though they are just buildings, they are in so many of our memories. A vessel of the good, the bad and the ugly.

I recently was standing in the house of my best friend. Her sweet mom had passed and this was the last time we would be standing together in this home. This was her childhood home. We met when we were 5 years old. The flood of memories and feelings that came over us both, for similar and different reason, was overwhelming.

I decided to create this, 2.0 series, if you will, of our homes and the significance they have on all of us.
