This work explores the theme of transparency, both with others and with ourselves. While we often hear that honesty is essential to healthy relationships, practicing true transparency is rarely easy. It asks us to reveal parts of ourselves that feel vulnerable, uncertain, or even uncomfortable. When we strip away the protective layers we use to hide, we create the possibility for deeper connection and understanding with people that truly want to have that important relationship with us.
Sometimes the people we thought would stick around for that, don’t. That is tough too.
