Constance is steadfast. As the definition of her name states, she has become resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering in her beliefs.
Or she’s trying to.
This has been and is still a work in progress to hold onto her confidence and strength in her self.
But she will do this.
Like the beautiful peacock, is a reminder to her to trust in herself and be proud of her accomplishments.
Constance and the Peacock are both gentle and calm in nature, and will only become dangerous when irritated or challenged.
The term "wallflower" has often been used to describe someone who is shy or introverted and tends to blend into the background at social events. This is one of many words that is used unfairly towards mostly women as it implies that they are passive and uninteresting.
It reinforces the societal expectation that women should be outgoing and sociable, and if they are not, they are somehow deficient.
