12”x18”
Mixed media collage on wood panel

I think there’s a deep beauty in the way setbacks push us to grow beyond what we thought was possible. Sometimes, the greatest breakthroughs come not from immediate success, but from the patience and perseverance to try again, learn from mistakes, and return stronger. It’s this cycle of self-reflection and growth that shapes us into more capable, grounded individuals.

Reevaluating and bouncing back also nurtures self-compassion. It teaches us that failure isn’t the end, but simply a part of a larger, evolving journey.
